Edit an Onsite Display Campaign

You can change a campaign's settings once it is live from the Campaign Settings panel. These are campaign-level settings that apply to every line item in the campaign. To change what runs on a specific retailer, edit the individual line item instead.

What You Can Change After Launch

From Campaign Settings, you can change:

  • Campaign name, which is visible only to you.

  • Balance mapping, the balance that funds the campaign. Available for Auction and Preferred Deals campaigns; not supported for Sponsorship.

  • Attribution settings, the post-click and post-view lookback windows and product match rules.

  • A/B testing, which is set up with help from your Criteo team rather than fully self-serve.

  • Frequency cap, the maximum impressions per shopper.

Open Campaign Settings

  1. Go to the Campaigns section.

  2. Open the campaign you want to change.

  3. Open Campaign Settings by clicking the cog icon in the top panel. Each section has its own edit (pencil) control: Campaign Name, Balances, Attribution Settings, and Advanced Settings.

  4. Click the pencil next to the section you want to change, make the change, and save.

Change the Campaign Name

Click the pencil next to Name under Campaign Name, enter the new name, and save. The name is visible only to you, in the Campaigns and Analytics sections, and never appears in your ads.

Change the Balance Mapping

Click the pencil next to Balances to change which balance funds the campaign. A campaign needs a balance with available funds to keep spending.

Change Attribution Settings

Click the pencil next to Attribution Settings to change the post-click and post-view lookback windows and product match rules.

Set Up or Change A/B Testing

A/B testing measures performance between shoppers exposed to your campaign and those who are not. It is not fully self-serve, so contact your Criteo representative to set it up or change it.

Change the Frequency Cap

A frequency cap limits how many impressions a single shopper sees, with a value from 1 to 20 per day or per session.
