Campaign
The top level of your advertising structure. Campaigns group line items by budget and attribution settings.

Campaign Status
Active: at least one line item is live and ads are serving. Inactive: all line items are off.

Campaign Type
The ad format selected for your campaign: Onsite Sponsored Products, Onsite Display, or Offsite.

Click
The number of clicks your ads received after invalid traffic filtering, per MRC measurement standards. Not all retailers are covered by MRC accreditation.

Clicks (gross)
The total number of clicks your ads received, including those filtered out during traffic-quality review.

Clicks (invalid)
Clicks excluded due to invalid traffic detection, per MRC measurement standards. These don’t count toward performance metrics or billing. Not all retailers are covered by MRC accreditation.

A machine-learning optimization model that maximizes click volume relative to impressions (click-through rate). No learning phase — results are immediate.

Click-Through Rate (CTR)
Measures how often shoppers click your ad after seeing it.

Commerce Max Account
Your access point to the Commerce Max platform. Allows you to manage campaigns, line items, and reporting.

Completion Rate
The number of times your video ads played for the full duration divided by the number of times they started.

Conversion
Recorded when a shopper completes a purchase after engaging with your ad, within your campaign’s attribution window.

Conversion Optimizer
A machine-learning model that maximizes conversion rate (completed purchases per click). Targets the lowest possible cost per order (CPO).

Conversion Rate (CR)
The percentage of shoppers who clicked your ad and completed a purchase within your attribution window.

Cost per Click (CPC)
The price you pay per click. Pricing model for Sponsored Products and auction-based Onsite Display campaigns.

Cost per Completed View
Spend divided by the number of completed video views.

Cost per Mille (CPM)
The price you pay per 1,000 ad impressions.

Cost per Order (CPO)
Average amount spent per completed purchase order.

Cost per View
Spend divided by the number of times your video ads started.

Cost of Sales (COS)
Ad spend as a percentage of revenue generated.

Note: A COS of 10% is equivalent to a ROAS of 10.
